We got this bed from Ikea many months ago because it was cheap and we thought we would upgrade to a bigger, nicer one eventually. Well, I couldn’t stand the unfinished look of it.

So, I decided to stain it. And it looks purrrrty!

And for the rest of the kitchen, which I talked about in the last post… We have mustard colored appliances. How do you choose a paint color with mustard appliances as front and center? I chose a color called fig and I think it worked pretty well.
