In California, it’s illegal to talk on your cell phone while driving unless you have a hands-free device. What this law failed to cover is the fact that it’s still legal to text message while you drive. IT’S LEGAL TO TEXT MESSAGE. Nevermind the fact that you actaully have to look down at your screen to send and a text message.

It’s looks like it will only take a railway disaster to kill 26 people for lawmakers to realize that text messaging is equally, if not more, dangerous that talking on a cell phone.
