Boston Trip: New Camera
Some pictures from my recent trip to Boston. I spent some time learning about my new camera and playing with different settings and exposures. I’m not really sure what I am doing, but I think some of these turned out pretty darn good. All of the portaits of me were set up by me and taken with the assistance of my wonderful brother.
The ‘bar’ shots were taken in my grandma’s basement. She and my grandfather had a bar set up down there from many years ago. There were some ancient bottles of alcohol down there; perhaps some are now collector’s items. I took home two bottles of unopened Seagram’s whisky from 1964 and 1967.
The night shots were taken mostly in the North End (little Italy) and in my grandmother’s neighborhood of North Quincy.
